Hi KristinaI dont know if it will work for coldsores outside the mouth, his was right up high inside between cheek and gums, he just bruised a fresh leaf, and laid it flat on his cheek against the ulcer and left it there all day, he said he soon got so used to it, he forgot it was there, I made him take it out for bed incase he choked. it took two days to heal it completely
